Technical Support Engineer (1st Line Support)

Tabs FM have a vacancy for a talented Technical Support Engineer (1st Line Support). This role is ideally suited to someone with excellent customer service/administration skills who may also be recent IT graduate/college leaver, or someone with equivalent industry experience (at least 1 year within the IT industry as a support engineer).

Role:
- Help desk support - answering software support calls from clients and processing support emails
- Logging calls on internal system, using own initiative and taking ownership of requests
- Investigating (analysis/diagnosis) and resolving problems seeing them through to completion
- Liaising with relevant teams on the resolution of issues
- Testing new software functionality developed and assisting the quality assurance
- Liaising with the Account Management Teams and other key members of staff on improving business processes and client liaison
- Manipulating client data using SQL
- Managing data backups
- Performing software installations
- General administrative duties

Desirable Skill and Experience

We are seeking candidates who ideally possess external first line software technical support experience. Any experience or knowledge of CAFM/CMMS systems is advantageous but not essential. Also, vitally important are communication skills and the ability to build customer relationships.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience (up to £18,000)


Android Developer

A position has become available in a successful software company established over many years, who specialise in providing software solutions to various sectors. We are currently on a campaign to recruit a talented Android developer to join an existing development team in the maintenance and future development of our product. To be successful for this role we will require an experienced developer with skills as Follows:-

Role:
- Deep knowledge of Android app development using Java and Android SDK with proven ability to develop complete applications compatible across multiple Android versions
- Experience of unit testing Android applications, object-oriented design and version control
- Awareness of agile methodologies
- Some experience of iOS Development with exposure to Objective-C and XCode is advantageous but not necessary

.Net Developer

A position has become available in a successful software company established over many years, who specialise in providing software solutions to various sectors.

We are currently on a campaign to recruit a talented web developer to join an existing team in the maintenance and future development of our product. To be successful for this role we will require an experienced developer with skills in VB.NET, JQuery, CSS, WCF, MS Visual Studio 2010, C#, Visual Studio 2013, HTML5, Java and SQL.

The role will require 2nd and 3rd line support to our customer base, bug fixing and development to set specifications.

A team player is vital to this position along with a passion in developing and willingness to learn new technologies.

Service Desk Operator / Customer Service Advisor

A position has become available in a successful software company established over many years, who specialise in providing CAFM software solutions to various client sectors in the Facilities Management industry. Tabs FM are currently seeking to recruit a talented Service Desk Operator to join the customer service team.

Role:
- Managing telecommunications
- Directing information to appropriate resources
- Accurate data handling and input
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Supporting customer questions/queries
- General administrative duties (supporting invoicing, quotations, enquiries)
- Preparing reports and reviewing data
- Supporting field basede mployee requests (diary management, expenses, accommodation/transport booking)
- Filing and upkeep of manual records
- General Director PA duties

Desirable Skill and Experience

The ideal candidate should have strong administrative and organisational Skills whilst being computer literate. It is important that the successful candidate has good numeracy and literacy skills as well as being customer focused. Financial awareness is advantageous.

Technical Consultant/Implementation Consultant

The position will require travelling and as such will include mileage allowance/company car & petrol card (negotiable on interview), so clean driving licence essential.

Role:
- Attending client sites all over the UK installing/updating/fault finding on the Tabs software built in:-sql,.net, IIS, Android, IOS
- Documenting Client requirements which can be easily transposed into a development specification
- Assisting on the help desk with enquiries when not on site
- Small amount of training clients

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with all levels of clients
- Creative/logical thinker, offering workable solutions to clients using the Tabs products.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team within an Agile environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft:- sql Server management studio 2000(enterprise)/2005/2008R2:- installing, querying, (T-SQL),adding users etc.., general knowledge of Networking, IIS 5,6 & 7, Virtual Desktops and all windows platforms.

Training Consultant

Reporting to the Sales Director

Role:

To provide training of the Tabs FM products to clients and internal staff, including preparation of documentation. This is both an office and field based role.

- To undertake the training function of Tabs FM Ltd
- To actively market the Tabs FM products and brand
- To develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and customers of Tabs FM Ltd
- To undertake the design and development of training courses and frameworks for the Tabs FM system
- To undertake further research of clients installation and system application to ensure course content is suitable
- To undertake the delivery of training for the Tabs FM system
- To develop new ways of delivering training using modern media formats including the internet and forums
- To arrange and deliver training events
- To further develop and deliver hosted training services
- To monitor and record course feedback and report on performance on a monthly basis
- To undertake the writing and maintenance of course manuals
- To undertake courtesy visits and consultations with clients, providing reviews and Health Checks of their system operation and application
- To undertake testing of new products and developments as required
- To undertake any other duties that may be reasonably deemed within the scope of the role

Experience:

- Knowledge of Facilities and Property Management functions
- Knowledge of the application of computer aided systems for management processes
- Experience of Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems
- Experience of delivering training courses
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Office suite

Hours: 9am - 5pm on site

Salary: Dependent on experience
